Marcus Chorus is a German-born songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist, singer, and composer. His work focuses on hook-forward songs and spans a wide range of popular music genres.

Raised in southern Germany, he began experimenting with electronic instruments at an early age and taught himself guitar and piano. He started out in design and spent a few years in top-tier strategy consulting, where he studied Innovation & Leadership at Stanford Graduate School of Business.

He then went on to earn a Master’s degree in Songwriting, Production, and Composition from Berklee College of Music, studying with legends Pat Pattison, Bonnie Hayes, and Sean Slade.

Beyond formal study, he developed his musical vocabulary through hyper-curiosity, deep and eclectic listening, and following great records wherever they led.

Over the years he has worked with iconic brands like Nike, Coca-Cola and Volkswagen, collaborated with artists across genres, composed for video games, held lectures and workshops on creativity, and released his own music under various monikers.

He lives in Berlin and works internationally.
