Marcus Chorus is a Berlin-based songwriter, producer, and mixer. His work focuses on both hook-forward songs and narrative/cinematic music. He has worked with iconic brands like Nike, Coca-Cola and Google, collaborated with artists and Grammy-nominated producers and mixers, composed for video games, held lectures/workshops on creativity, and released his own music under various monikers.

Raised in southern Germany, he began experimenting with electronic instruments at an early age and taught himself guitar and piano. He started out in design and spent a few years in top-tier strategy consulting, where he studied Innovation & Leadership at Stanford Graduate School of Business.

He then went on to earn a Master’s degree in Songwriting, Production, and Composition from Berklee College of Music, studying with legends Pat Pattison, Bonnie Hayes, and Sean Slade.

Beyond formal study, he developed his musical vocabulary through hyper-curiosity, deep and eclectic listening, and following great records wherever they led.
